ProA International

ProA International was legally constituted on June 15, 2001. A group of consultants and engineers have, under the motto "Enjoy, while we Build a better world for all", as its objective the Co-operation and internationalisation of consulting services in Design for All and the capitalisation of common knowledge in this field. ProA International is formed by the following organisations: LT Consultants Ltd (Finlàndia, Estònia, Suècia i Xipre), 3L (Alemanya), Bizgorre, S.L. (Bilbao), BBS design and ProAsolutions, S.L. (Barcelona).

The synergy arisen between these organisations has given rise to numerous innovative projects such as:

3L and ProAsolutions has collaborated in European basic investigation projects in Design for All e.g.

Information on Smart Houses, demotics and Life Span Housing:
An “intelligent” house is one that contains technologies applied to the house with the objective of incorporating new security services, energy savings and communications, gearing towards independence.

Functional analysis of equipment, needs’ studies and Post Occupancy Evaluation.

Multidisciplinary project with the objective of developing the technology for a home delivery system, without the need for the customer’s presence, that is accessible for everyone and therefore improves his or her quality of life.

ProAsolutions and LT participate in the implementation of a pavement heating system, in Helsinki, to avoid accidental slipping. This program will improve the citizen’s quality of life notably.

Fundosa Accesibilidad, Bizgorre, S.L. and ProAsolutions joint accessibility plans in numerous cities in Spain.
